Joe draws on over 30 years of diverse experience in systems design, project management and broadcast operations to analyze workflows and create client focused solutions. His management of projects from conception to hand-off ensures effective communication with all stake holders from leadership to the end user.
Highlights of Joe’s work include commissioning control rooms for ESPN’s first Digital Center, designing the San Jose Public Television’s KTEH digital upgrade; and serving as a lead test and commissioning engineer for DirecTV’s uplink facilities.
Joe served as Director of Engineering for multiple Meredith Broadcasting stations, meeting the demands of live television and the responsibilities that come with leading a large-scale technical operation.
His work with Paul Allen at Vulcan had Joe providing world class executive level technical support on a 24/7/365 basis as he applied his technical expertise and his operational knowledge to the challenges of a worldwide private media distribution for “on-demand” media delivery.
Joe’s success as Operations Manager for Amazon Prime Video live sports events required a calm demeanor and ability to think quickly. The nature of live sporting events require the skills to assess, prioritize and resolve technical issues while under pressure. Joe was a leader in these situations ensuring a consistent and quality product to the customer on a routine basis.
